A free vaccination and microchipping event. Free spay-neuter surgery vouchers for Pit Bull, Chihuahua, and large dog owners. Behavior specialists from Animal Humane New Mexico and from the City of Albuquerque’s Animal Welfare Department will be on hand as will Craig Fischbach from Hills talks to people about pet nutrition. NMDOG will be there with dog food, collars/harnesses, leashes, Bernalillo County ordinance/licensing information, and educational materials on the dangers of chaining.
